The best AI Discord servers: Midjourney, OpenAI, Stable Diffusion, Claude and where the builders hang out

AI servers are the largest communities on Discord right now. They are not all the same: some are tools, some are support desks, some are workshops.

AI communities are the biggest thing on Discord since gaming. The largest server on the platform is an AI tool. But "AI server" means three different things.

Servers that are the product

Midjourney is the obvious one: image generation happens inside the server, which is why it has more members than most countries have people. Join for the community showcase and the newbie channels; generate through the bot or the web app.

Official lab communities

  • OpenAI — announcements, API help, model-specific channels. Busy but well organised.
  • Claude — Anthropic's community: prompt patterns, tool use, agent building.
  • Stable Diffusion — Stability's official server; the place for open-model workflows, LoRA training and the open-source ecosystem around it.

Builder communities

  • Cursor — people building with AI coding assistants; practical, opinionated, fast-moving.
  • Supabase — increasingly an AI-app server: vector search, edge functions, auth for agents.
  • Blender Community — where generated images meet real 3D pipelines.

Picking one

Want to make things? Midjourney or Stable Diffusion. Want help with an API? OpenAI or Claude. Want to ship an app? Cursor and Supabase. All of them are large; use the search inside the server and read the pinned channel guide first.

A note on "AI" servers that are not

Servers promising free credits, "unlimited GPT" or crypto-token access are not communities, they are funnels. We do not list them, and if one slips through, the Report link on any page removes it quickly.
